Pisum sativum L.
Historic, late variety with long, bulging pods and aromatic grains.
High-yielding variety with exceptionally sweet peas, which are slightly wrinkled when dried due to their sugar content. The green pods are narrow and elongated and contain around 8-10 pea seeds. The plant grows to a height of around 1-2 m, needs good support to climb and has good disease resistance. In the kitchen, it is perfect for main courses, salads and soups. Its sweet taste makes it a great addition to many dishes. It also freezes well.
